2nd of May at 9:45pm and 9th of May at 9pm, £10 Ticket: Nicole Harvey (performance)

After a sell out run in Edinburgh 2014, and continuing with the webisodes: www.youtube.com/nicoleharveyuk,

Nicole Harvey as "Delicious&Dateless" comes to Brighton. Re-staged by comic Jonny Freeman.

This one woman comedy show is fusion of personal story, character comedy, social commentary, and stand-up. An honest, racy and satirical exploration of bewildering singledom for a smart, still hot, “happy in her own skin” lady turning 40. She refuses to shop for love online, or swipe in any direction just because her BFFs moved country or to the country, and she still likes to hit the dance floor. From inappropriate setups by pitying couples who have found the Holy Grail of Marriage to kitchen banishment by uncomfortable wives at dinner parties, Nicole constantly finds herself forced to apologise for enjoying childless freedom. She is certainly not a Bridget Jones and is far from a “man hater.” She is, however, definitely in culture shock! She misses good old-fashioned manners, loves to connect and talk like humans already, yet is forced to exist in this cybercentric, tinder-tastic, selfie-posing era. She wonders if her virtual self is having more fun than she is, and when did eye contact go so out of fashion?

“Sassy and gorgeously funny” – Anil Desai

"Keenly observed…witty social commentary” John Fleming

Following a Law degree Nicole has trained & worked as an actress, on screen/ stage, in London, Los Angeles,& Paris.

16th of May at 19:00 we have 3 comedy acts for you, Sara Mason, Rebekka Turner and Rebecca Shortall. PWYL (Pay What You Like) entry or £5 to reserve a seat. What more could you ask for?

Sara Mason:

Burt Lancaster Pierced My Hymen is a side-splitting, compelling, filthy and poignant show. Hilarious and slightly bonkers Sara Mason spent her surreal childhood in Hollywood, with film stars, hard drugs, the rich and famous. Anything goes in La La Land so you grow up fast once you’ve seen the dark side of celebrities.

Rebekka Turner:

"A bizarre mix of word play and eccentric thoughts. Her themes tend to focus around food and pop culture (from Kids TV to Musical Theatre). She is greatly inspired by sketch and wordy humour to get her stories across. Making the oddest of observations about the oddest of ideas. People have commented that she is similar to Emo Philips due to her awkward weirdness.

Rebecca Shortall:

' A neurotic, lapsed Catholic is opinionated, excitable and starved for attention; that's why she's doing this. This blurb is also the her personal ad. Must have GSOH.'

23rd of May at 8pm, £5 Ticket if bought directly from us in adavance from this page, £8 on the door or £10 through Fringe Festival: Isaac Raymond Fashion Show & Voodoo Creations Photography Exhibition (fashion)

Isaac Raymond is a young 17 year old British fashion designer who has designed and made over 74 garments in four years.

He started designing in 2010, at the young age of 12. He was inspired to start designing when he saw American pop artist Lady Gaga performing at the 2010 Video Music awards on TV. It was her outrageous and amazing fashion sense that grabbed Isaac.

Isaac has been causing a stir in Fashion Circles in London. Josef Jammerbund, Head of Events at The British Fashion Council, who host the Internationally famous London Fashion Week, has said that "I think Isaac is displaying a great eye for detail and is able to compose well-fitting and wearable items. Some of the designs are reminiscent of classic fairy tale characters which he cleverly complements with origami silhouettes and Manga images. His expressiveness shines through a bold use of colour and textures as well as a touch of drama. I am intrigued to find out what he can come up with next!"

23rd of May from 6pm: Voodoo Creations (photography)

My love for photography comes from an early age. But my first artistic experiences were as a young boy when my parents fortunately allowed me to indulge my creativity by drawing and painting on almost every surface of my bedroom.

Over time this grew into a serious passion for drawing and illustration as well as graffiti art. At the same time I indulged in some guitar and piano playing. All this to say i have always loved the arts and had an intense need to create and express myself in various forms.

15 years ago i picked up my first camera and fell in love with this medium that allowed me to create artistic images like i did with my illustration and painting, in a fraction of the time and i even got to keep the original, which was not the case with the former art forms! I was hooked. I set up a dark room in a spare room of the house and i was set up.

Eventually I moved to the U.K. to study Photography over 13 years ago now, with the idea of becoming a documentary film maker.

Many years on now i no longer have a dark room, as i have moved on to digital since then. But i do have my own studio and gallery in Brighton, UK. We have been running since the beginning of 2013 and it has been a great experience so far!
